In a composite lender case, an executive team created a unit around arrears resolution. The boundary looked complete: it contained the caseworkers, engineers, hardship rules, customer communications and a bounded settlement budget. Compliance retained a defined stop right. The company registered a comparison process, froze its measures and granted the unit ordinary release authority for a nine-month trial.
For the first ten weeks, decision time fell. The unit removed two letters, changed an affordability question and gave branch staff a better account of a customer's open arrangement.
Then the boundary began to argue with the work. A hardship arrangement changed the income state used by collections, new lending, branch service and statutory reporting. Those processes also changed its meaning together…
